IBM Commercial and Move to LA

Last month, I worked in a SAG National TV commercial with Terri Timely Studio. The commercial was for IBM and it is now available online: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpWoFMSf73g

I believe it was also shown on TV during the recent Masters of golf tournament but I didn’t watch it to check. Let me know if you saw it!

Even though I worked for two days as a principal actor on this shoot, I hardly appear in the final edit (I am hidden under the green umbrella, and the dad that you can catch a glimpse of in the last shot). Still, it was a very fun shoot, and a great experience, with an incredible set design and production quality.

On other news, I just moved to West Hollywood! My agent, Stars Agency, will continue representing me with its LA division. I joined an exciting company called Maker Studios, that produces videos and empowers artists to create videos for Youtube and other internet venues. With 70 million subscribers, 650 million monthly views, and over 400 youtube channels, it is definitely one of the major players in the entertainment revolution that is currently happening.

‘The Final Shutter’ is a wrap

Last weekend, I was very grateful to play an interesting and challenging leading role in ‘The Final Shutter’, a short drama written and directed by Hyunsook Oh, a former TV producer/director at KBS. It was her thesis film for the Academy of Art and I was impressed by the talent of everyone on set and the high quality of the production. The film was shot on a Red Camera, expertly operated by a camera/lighting crew composed for the most part of experienced Academy of Art alumni, lead by award winning Director of Photography Natalie Weiss.

Actress Yuliya Kutsopey and make-up artist Gill Cortez

The cast was a joy to work with! Brittany Williams gave a wonderful performance in the leading female role of Jess, the dedicated assistant of a renowned artist (played by me). As my character becomes more and more obsessed with creating a true masterpiece, hers grows equally obsessed and desperate for his love. Their respective obsessions lead them on a spiral of destruction.

I also enjoyed performing with veteran theater actor/director Stephen Maddox, fellow Beverly Hill Playhouse acting student, Yuliya Kutsopey, and actor/singer Patrick Joseph Maloney.

The film should be complete in April and hit the festival circuit later this year.

Cast as Bad Guys

I recently booked the lead role in two short film productions that I look forward to perform in. The two characters I will be playing have one thing in common: they are both “bad guys”!

In the first film, “The Final Shutter”, written and directed by Hyunsook Oh and produced by Jason Mildwurm of Midgard Productions, I will portray a talented and renowned photographer, who becomes obsessed with capturing true emotions on film. His quest for perfection is unfortunately not always compatible with the well being of people around him…

In the second film, “Dinner Guest”, written and directed by Hassan Moore, I will play a French man at a dinner party who is seemingly charming and pleasant but has a secret and dark agenda.

Video Shoot with Pedersen Media Group

I just performed in a video produced by Pedersen Media Group. The shoot was highly professional and fun, especially during a scene that involved a fire breather! It was great working with fellow Beverly Hills Playhouse actor Troy Forte, as well as reconnecting with actress Christina Melocik, who was my co-star in The Straight Pill. It was also a pleasure meeting and performing a scene with actor Jonathan Stoddard.

Adobe Commercial Available Online

I performed in a commercial for Adobe Enterprise a while back and it is now available online at http://www.autofuss.com/work/adobe-enterprise. I only have about 6 seconds of face time at the beginning of this spot, but it was a great experience and a fun shoot with top notch design studio Autofuss.

Cast as lead in SFSDF short drama ‘Emma’

I was cast in the lead role in an intense short drama written and directed by Navjyot Bandiwadekar. Navjyot is a film student at the SFSDF, which is where I took my very first acting class years ago. I am looking forward to work again with Heather Ryan, the leading lady in the film, who was my co-star in Un-disguise and was a key contributor and actress in my recent production “The Life of Eric Richards“. The film tells the story of a breakup that is not as it seems.
