Co-Star in The Bold and The Beautiful

2016-06-24 10.22.26

I can now officially reveal the name of the CBS Soap Opera I co-starred in a few weeks ago, and that will air on July 27th. It is none others than the famous, long running (almost 30 years) and Emmy Award winning The Bold and The Beautiful

I played the role of a French reporter in a red carpet event, and exchanged a few lines with the legendary Eric Forrester (played by John McCook since 1987!).

The shoot was super fun and it was wonderful to be a part of it!

Won the AIFF 2012 Best Short Short Award!

The last two weeks have been amazing for ‘The Life of Eric Richards‘! It was screened on  Friday Nov 2 at night at the LA Comedy Festival, then Monday night Nov 5th, my birthday by the way :), at the American Independent Film Festival (AIFF), along with some other awesome short films at both events!

And I just found out that it won the best Short Short Award at the American Independent Film Festival! Congratulations to everyone who participated in the movie!

I attended both festivals and participated in small Q&A sessions on both occasions.

The LA Comedy Festival was at the Los Feliz 5 Cinemas, a quaint and vintage little cinema in Los Feliz. The attendance was pretty much all filmmakers and their friends. The selection was excellent. I particularly enjoyed ‘Status Update – A Facebook Fairytale‘, which was a hilarious and highly professionally executed comedy about an average joe who magically gets all his facebook update realized. ‘The Diner’s Club‘ was also a great and well executed idea. The Life of Eric Richards seemed well received with lots of laughs in all the right places :-).

The American Independent Film Festival was screened at the Laemmle Music Hall in Beverly Hills. Great theater and location. Again, the selection was impressive. My favorites were ‘The Golden Age’, a fresh comedy about a college reunion gone wrong, and ‘Reflection of the Life‘, a sweet hipster romance that was also shot in San Francisco (just like The Life of Eric Richards). I actually recognized one of the actress in the film,  Annamarie Macleod, whom I worked with on a Cisco commercial.

I am stoked that the Life of Eric Richards won the Best Short Short Award (under 5 min).

Booked Lead Role in Short Film ‘Swingers’ and Cameo in ‘Phantom-Limbed’

After two callbacks, I was cast in the lead role of a short film called ‘Swingers’, that will be directed by Chapman University graduate student Alyxandra Press. Rehearsals have already started with my costar Bethany Bonnaud. The film is set in a future dystopia and I play the role of a scientist who tries to regain the trust of his girlfriend after a mysterious 2 year disappearance.

On other news, I had the pleasure to reunite with some of the cast of ‘The Life of Eric Richards‘ (from left to right on the photo: Kristine GerolagaYulia KutsopeyVictoria Ma) for a brief cameo in ‘Phantom-Limbed‘, a short film written and directed by Kee Heywood, who was the editor and AD on ‘The Life Of Eric Richards’.
